New Features In MIUI 11 is Urging Us To Wait For The Rollout

Xiaomi launches its MIUI11 OS along with MI 9 Pro 5G, Mi Mix Alpha 5G and Mi AirDots Pro 2 at the launch event held in China. The new design mainly focuses on content viewing. It also includes new visual design and sound effects.

At the launch day, MIUI 11 rolled out for various devices including Redmi K20 Pro and Redmi Note 7 Pro.

Redesigned New User Interface

MIUI fixes the issues in MIUI 10 and brings clear UI, powerful navigation gestures and brings forth the relevant content to the users. In MIUI 11 Xiaomi makes the UI user-friendly and simple but highly interactive.

A New Milan Pro Font

A new font called Milan Pro with a dynamic font scaling feature included in MIUI11. Xiaomi is introducing the world’s first dynamic font scaling feature, which provides you to choose font-weight as per your preference. Different font-weights can be applied simply by moving the slider.

Always On Display (AOD)

This AOD takes the customization to new levels. The user now can change the text present in the AOD and Xiaomi also changed the kaleidoscope presets for AOD. Notifications are now shown with the animation when the display is off. Note that these features are only available with the AMOLED display phones in the Xiaomi series such as my 9 series and Redmi K20 series.

New Dynamic Sound Effects

New Dynamic sound effects that resemble close to the sounds of nature.

Quick replies

MIUI 11 provides quick replies features that allow users to send messages while doing other activities.

New Way To Show Notifications

MIUI 11 brings a new way to show notifications when a notification comes to the phone the side of the phone gets lit up. This type of notification helps when the model is without the notification LED.

Ultra Battery Saver

Ultra Battery Saver with MIUI 11 that disable most power consuming features and increase the time duration of by leaving basic functionality (e.g. Calls, SMS and connecting to the network) available as long as possible.

Turning on ultra battery savers restricts power-consuming activity, background activity, decreases screen brightness and turns on dark theme. Users get access to only basic apps while the ultra battery saver is turned on, however, users can choose apps that they want to use even in ultra battery saver mode.

Mi Work

Mi work suite provides support to document thumbnail preview, one tap projection to screens, and helps users with File sharing, large document transfer, smart screencast, and wireless printing features, etc.

Mi Go

Mi Go is a smart travel assistant as well as extreme power saving mode, which allows for a standby time of up to 24 hours with only 5% battery life.

Emergency SOS

With MIUI 11 you can access the emergency contact with in a tap in case of emergency situations.

Along with these features MIUI 11 also contains the visual changes that please your eyes.

Women’s Period Tracker

 MIUI 11 allows women users to record and track the menstruation cycle. The feature will send notifications like periods start and end date, suggested dates of the next period, and so on.

The Note app and calendar app get better and efficient with the features that allow you to receive reminders and use gestures to manage all things on your to-do list. With the calendar app you can calculate the age, discounts, taxes, and much more.
