How Redmi Note 8 Pro Competes With the Realme XT

Realme XT, Redmi Note 8 Pro comes with a FHD+ display running at 1080×2340 pixels resolution. The Note 8 Pro has a 6.53-inch LCD panel, whereas the Realme XT has a 6.4-inch AMOLED panel display. Both the smartphone has a tiny notch on the front includes the single selfie camera.

The Redmi Note 8 Pro and Realme XT is an all-glass phone while the Realme XT is slightly durable than Redmi Note 8 Pro. Both Redmi Note 8 Pro and Realme XT includes Gorilla Glass 5 on the front as well as on the back panel.

One is powered by a Qualcomm processor while the other one comes with MediaTek chip. The Redmi Note 8 Pro has a MediaTek Helio G90T octa-core SoC with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage on board. The Redmi Note 8 Pro comes with liquid cooling support for the enhanced gaming experience.  The Realme XT, on the other hand, comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 SoC paired with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The AnTuTu benchmark score of the Redmi Note 8 Pro is impressive 2,83,333 points, While the Realme XT managed 181,841 points.

How Redmi Note 8 Pro Competes With the Realme XT

The redmi Note 8 Pro and Realme XT comes with 64-megapixel quad-camera sensors at the back. You get a primary 64-megapixel sensor paired with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera. The setup also comes with a 2-megapixel depth sensor and a 2-megapixel macro lens. For selfies and video calling, the Realme phones come with a 16-megapixel sensor, whereas the Xiaomi phone has a 20-megapixel sensor. The front camera of both the phones sits inside the dot drop notch. Both phones come with lots of AI features.

The Redmi Note 8 Pro comes with a bigger battery when compared to the Realme XT. The Xiaomi phone comes with a 4,500mAh battery with 18W fast charging, whereas the Realme phone comes with a 4,000mAh unit with 20W fast charging. Here Realme XT has the upper hand as its charge quickly with 20W fast charging.

The Redmi Note 8 Pro runs Android 9 Pie based on MIUI 10 while the Realme XT comes with Android 9 Pie based on Color OS 6.

Redmi Note 8 pro comes with a rear mount finger print sensor, while Realme XT comes with indisplay, finger print sensor that works smooth without any lag. Both the phones support face unlocks.

You get all the basic set of the connectivity port same in both the smartphones such as USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth v5, GPS + GLONASS. whereas the Redmi Note 8 pro include NFC,  IR blaster extra.

Finally, there is not much difference in the specification of both the smartphones. If you are in need of Super AMOLED display and indisplay finger print sensor, the durable phone then go for RealmeXT. If you are in need of high performance processor and you are a gaming freak then definitely go for Redmi note 8 pro.
